DUO STUDIO SRL is an architecture, design, and research studio co-founded and managed by Dr. Ionuț Adrian Ibric. Beyond core architectural design, the team specializes in grant writing, research and institutional development, budget preparation, and circular design.
Meet the Members
Adrian Ibric
Dr. Ibric is an architect, researcher, and academic at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism (UAUIM) in Bucharest. With over 17 years of management experience in the private and academic sectors, he has led multiple research projects, FDI/UEFISCDI grants, and eco-innovations (e.g., TUBATECT, ECOMODUL) focused on sustainable architecture and recycled materials.
Florin Cristache
An architect who has long collaborated with Dr. Ibric through DUO STUDIO and STUDIOPLOT. He has co-designed award-winning eco-design prototypes (such as cardboard tube office furniture shown at the Architecture Annual) and works extensively on drafting research and project proposals.
Cojocaru Sebastian
He contributed within Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism (UAUIM) as a student author and core team member of the WOODJOIN research project (Wood joining – concept, execution and use).
His role also encompasses web design for research and project profiles, as well as comprehensive EU grant proposal management.
David Doleanu
Works across project lifecycle execution, coordinating documentation, media assets, and administrative requirements for grant submissions and corporate partnerships.
